Is ChargeAtHomePros free for homeowners?

Short answer

Yes. Homeowners never pay ChargeAtHomePros anything. Electricians in our network pay us a referral fee only when they win your business. You evaluate the quote the same way you would any contractor, and if it doesn't work for you, you walk away with no cost and no commitment.

More detail

The referral-fee model matters because it aligns incentives. ChargeAtHomePros only makes money when a driver is matched with an electrician they actually hire. We do not make money by selling the same lead to five contractors.

The matched electrician's quote is not marked up to cover our fee. The electrician pays the referral fee out of their own margin on a project they would otherwise have spent customer-acquisition dollars on through paid search or directory listings.

If you receive a quote and decide not to hire the matched electrician, you owe nothing—to them, to us, to anyone. The assessment is genuinely free.
