Terms of Service

Effective: May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of chargeathomepros.com and the lead-matching service operated by ChargeAtHomePros (“ChargeAtHomePros,” “we,” “us”). By submitting the lead form or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What ChargeAtHomePros is — and isn't

ChargeAtHomePros is a matching service. We connect customers with vetted EVITP-certified electricians in our network. We are not an electrical contractor; we do not perform installs or repairs; we do not warrant any electrician's work; we do not collect payment for electrician services.

When we match you with an electrician, the resulting business relationship is between you and that electrician. Their quote, scope, pricing, permitting, warranty, and execution are their responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. You must provide accurate information in the lead form. Submitting false information is a breach of these Terms.

3. The matching process

  1. You submit a request via the form.
  2. We route it to an EVITP-certified electrician licensed in your jurisdiction who serves your ZIP code.
  3. The electrician contacts you, performs a free site survey, and sends a flat-rate written quote including permit and rebate paperwork.
  4. You decide whether to proceed — no obligation to accept the quote.

We do not guarantee a specific match time. Most requests are routed within hours; some commercial or rural ZIPs may take longer. If we cannot match your request within 7 days, we will notify you.

4. Cost

The matching service is free for customers. Electricians in our network pay us a referral fee only when they win your business. You will never be charged by ChargeAtHomePros for using the matching service.

5. Electrical work disclaimers

EV charger installation is electrical work performed by licensed electricians under your local jurisdiction's building and electrical codes. The matched electrician is responsible for pulling permits, scheduling inspections, and ensuring code compliance. ChargeAtHomePros does not perform electrical work and is not licensed as an electrical contractor.

6. Tax credits, rebates, and incentives

The matched electrician may file paperwork on your behalf for the federal Section 30C tax credit and any applicable state or utility rebates. Final eligibility and disbursement of any tax credit or rebate is determined by the issuing authority (IRS, state agency, utility), not by us and not by the matched electrician. We do not guarantee any specific rebate or credit amount.

7. Your responsibilities

8. Electrician disclaimers

Every electrician in our network is vetted at admission for EVITP certification, state licensing, bonding, and insurance. Despite this, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome. We are not responsible for:

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChargeAtHomePros from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the service in violation of applicable law, or your false or misleading submissions.
